Marisa R.

Trainer & Kennel Support

Marisa has always had a passion for working with canines. From rescuing abandoned dogs as a child to teaching them how to be dogs, and grooming them with her mother, Marisa’s love for dogs began early. Marisa spent 10 years working in kennels, grooming, teaching, and caring for dogs, with dog training always being a personal passion. She is dedicated to helping as many dogs as possible find their forever homes and become well-behaved companions.

Heather I.

Lead Trainer

Heather has been called “the animal whisperer.” Deer and squirrels would eat from her hand, butterflies landed on her, and lost or abandoned dogs always seemed to find their way to her doorstep. Her connection with animals has always felt intuitive—but it was tested and transformed in late 2020.
During the height of the COVID shutdowns and the beginning of her post-graduate academic journey, Heather decided to adopt a rescue dog. What she thought would be a grounding companion turned out to be a genetic and behavioral challenge she could never have anticipated. However, she found her calling through his struggles—and through the guidance of his dedicated trainers, whose approaches were rooted in compassion, adaptability, and the belief that every dog has the potential to grow when we listen deeply.
Today, Heather is committed to helping dogs thrive in the complex worlds we ask them to navigate, and to guiding owners in building meaningful, lasting relationships with their companions.

Cheyenne M.

Trainer & Kennel Support

Cheyenne has dedicated her career to helping build bonds between owners and their dogs through obedience and confidence-building training. She has always had a passion for dogs and is deeply committed to the safety, welfare, and forward development of the dogs in her care. “Coastal Pines K9 is more than just dog training; we truly care for the safety, welfare, and forward development of our dogs,” says Cheyenne.

Faith R.

Trainer & Kennel Support

Faith has always had a passion for working with animals. What sparked her interest in training was the help she needed when her own pup was attacked by a dog. Since then, her knowledge has grown, and she’s worked as a professional trainer for 2 years, along with 8 years of animal rescue and volunteer work at various different shelters. Her newest passion is training working dogs in personal protection or sport work. Faith’s long-term career goal is to have a working dog rescue, to train high-drive dogs surrendered to shelters, and find them the proper working homes. “Every pup deserves to have a connection with the right owner and live a happy life!”
